Out of worry and concern for the importance of community service from Vision Medical College at Jeddah and under the patronage of the Dean of Vision Medical College in Jeddah, Dr. Faris Altaf, representative from the students of Vision Medical College at Jeddah, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Al-Sahar, made an educational visit on Thursday, February 17, 2022 to the Second Security Forces Housing School, to raise the level of awareness of fourth, fifth and sixth grade students about the importance of oral and dental health and the fight against caries using models and games to simplify information and facilitate the delivery of information. The visit received an educational lecture on oral and dental health, including an applied workshop on the proper method of dental care and the best ways to use the brush and toothpaste using the in-kind gifts that were presented from Vision Medical College at Jeddah.<\/p>
The students of the Second Security Forces Housing School also participated in cultural and fun competitions about what benefits dental health and how to preserve it. There is no doubt about the impact of the quality of foods and behaviors followed in oral and dental health. Therefore, the students participated in a short lecture on healthy food and its impact on oral and dental health and distributed educational brochures on simple ways to maintain oral and dental health. The visit won the approval of students and employees of the Second Security Forces Housing School, and the students expressed their satisfaction and benefit from the visit of the students at Vision Medical College at Jeddah. \u200fThese educational visits come in order to achieve the college’s objectives by raising the level of community awareness of oral and dental health and the importance of promoting community service among its students.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
