More than two million and 500 thousand scientific research is published annually around the world. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranks 25th in the world in the fields of scientific research. Billions of riyals are spent annually in various fields, which helped in registering thousands of Saudi patents and benefiting from their outputs.
According to the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, the Kingdom aspires to be among the top ten countries in scientific research in a competitive indicator, and to rank at least 5 Saudi universities among the top 200 international universities. During the previous years, more than 3,000 research services were supported in the Kingdom, with a total sample size of nearly 500 thousand, which helped in issuing hundreds of scientific research at the national and international levels. More than 400 research papers were published in international refereed journals, in addition to many other achievements.
