Vision College in Riyadh has launched a seasonal influenza vaccination campaign for its staff and students, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

The vaccination campaign was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 24-25, 2023. The aim of the campaign is to safeguard the health and safety of the college’s staff and students, and to reduce the spread of viral infections, which peak during the winter season compared to other seasons.

It is emphasized that the vaccination has no side effects and has proven effectiveness in all countries worldwide. Prevention of influenza lies in taking the vaccine, avoiding crowded places, washing hands thoroughly, avoiding direct contact with the eyes and mouth, using tissues when sneezing or coughing, and maintaining cleanliness.

The implementation of this campaign by Vision College in Riyadh aligns with the efforts of the Ministry of Health to ensure the health and safety of the entire community and to promote health awareness.
