Vision Medical College in Jeddah, represented by the Community Service Committee, organized an awareness campaign on the occasion of World Mental Health Day on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The event was attended by the Dean, vice deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the college.  

The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness about the importance of mental health as a universal human right and an opportunity to focus on mental health issues. 

The campaign included an awareness corner about mental and personality disorders characterized by persistent and severe anxiety and stress that affect individuals’ lives and their ability to cope with daily life. 

In addition, there was an educational publications corner emphasizing the importance of positive thinking and encouraging students to visit the Psychological Counseling Office in case they face difficulties. 

The campaign also featured an entertainment corner for students, playing a vital role in promoting students’ mental, social, and psychological well-being as part of the comprehensive educational environment to support the health and happiness of the students of Vision Medical College in Jeddah.
