The Corporate Communication Department of Vision Medical College in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society represented by the Community Service Committee, organized an awareness lecture about the important principles of first aid on Monday, September 18, 2023. This coincides with World First Aid Day.

The aim of the awareness lecture is to raise health awareness among students and enhance their abilities to respond correctly in cases of health emergencies. First aid is one of the most important emergency and essential procedures for providing primary care. The lecture included some initial measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, choking, and how to properly rescue an injured person for adults and children. At the end of the lecture, all students’ inquiries were answered by the trainees from the Red Crescent Society, wishing full safety for all
