On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, the Student Affairs Unit organized a welcome meeting for the new students of the Nursing and Dentistry Department for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023, with the aim of preparing and informing them of the College procedures so that they can fulfill their ambitions and achieve success.

The meeting began with a welcome speech by the Dean of the College, Dr. Faris Altaf, during which he welcomed the new students and then talked about the importance of this meeting, which enables them to know more about all the College departments, including nursing and dental laboratories, in addition to general directives such as the need to adhere to the College regulations and to find out about the most important rules, e-services and the learning resources that the student needs at this stage, from admission to graduation.

Then, the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs at the College, Dr. Salwa Taiba, gave a welcome speech to the new students, in which she emphasized the need for the students to be acquainted with the College regulations to be aware of their rights and duties as to be able to claim their rights to the fullest extent, in addition to alerting the importance of e-mail, as it is the official and basic means of communication with the College administration. Dr. Taiba also indicated the importance of the student’s practice of activities to highlight talents and develop various skills, as the College sets up seasonal activities inside and outside its campus.

At the end of the welcome meeting, the students asked several questions, and they were answered. We wished Allah Almighty all success and a distinguished educational future for our new students.
