Admission requirements
Admission requirements for the Vision College in Riyadh:
Medicine and Surgery:
- The student must hold a High School Diploma (scientific track) or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom, and pass the Qudurat and Tahsili tests, obtaining a weighted score of no less than (76) and a Tahsili test score of no less than (70). The weighted score will be calculated according to the equation (Tahsili Test × 40%) + (High school GPA × 30%) + (Qudurat × 30%).
- Good conduct and behavior are required.
- The student must pass the interview and admission test if applicable.
- The student must be medically fit.
- The student must not have been expelled from a university or college for disciplinary reasons, except after three years from the date of dismissal.
- Admission will be revoked if the information provided by the student is found to be incorrect.
- Admission will be revoked if the student fails to complete the registration procedures for the semester in which they were accepted.
Dentistry Surgery:
- The student must hold a High School Diploma (scientific track) or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom, and pass the Qudurat and Tahsili tests, obtaining a weighted score of no less than (76). The weighted score will be calculated according to the equation (Tahsili Test × 40%) + (High school GPA × 30%) + (Qudurat × 30%).

Bridging in General Nursing :
- The student must hold a High School Diploma (scientific track) or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom.
- Obtaining an intermediate university degree or a diploma certificate of no less than two years after high school in any health specialties.
- Equivalence of degrees from the Certificate Equivalency Committee at the Ministry of Education for students holding intermediate university degrees or diploma certificates from outside the Kingdom.
- The student’s overall GPA should not be less than (Good) or its equivalent. In case the student obtains a GPA lower than (Good), they must pass an additional semester.
- The specialization in the nursing program should be an extension of the student’s major.
- The student must have a valid professional classification and registration.
- The student must be full-time throughout their enrollment in the Academic Advancement Program (Bridging).
- The student must pass one of the standardized English proficiency tests with the following minimum scores:

Transferred and Equivalency Bachelor’s Degree Students:
For transferred and equivalency students:
They are subject to all initial admission requirements according to the transferred specialization, in addition to the cumulative GPA of the previous university, which should be:
- If the GPA is out of 5 from the transferring university: Obtaining a cumulative GPA of not less than 3 out of 5.
- If the GPA is out of 4 from the transferring university: Obtaining a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.2 out of 4.

General Nursing (Accelerated Track) :
- The student must hold a High School Diploma (scientific track) or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom, and pass the Qudurat and Tahsili tests, obtaining a weighted score of no less than (65). The weighted score will be calculated according to the equation (Tahsili Test × 40%) + (High school GPA × 30%) + (Qudurat × 30%).
- If English is not the student’s native language, evidence of English proficiency must be provided. Accepted standardized English proficiency tests include:

Science in Midwifery
– Must have a scientific track high school certificate or equivalent, with a minimum weighted score of 56. The weighted score is calculated as follows: Tahsili × 40% + High School × 30% + Qudrat × 30%

-Passing the interview and an admission examination, if required.
-Being medically fit, and
-No disciplinary expulsion occurring within the last three years;
-Providing Incorrect information nullifies admission;
Failure to complete the registration process will lead to the cancellation of admission.
Bachelor of Midwifery Program
– Must have a scientific track high school certificate or equivalent, with a minimum weighted score of 56. The weighted score is calculated as follows: Tahsili × 40% + High School × 30% + Qudrat × 30%.
-Good conduct.
-Passing the interview and an admission examination, if required.
-Being medically fit, and
-No disciplinary expulsion occurring within the last three years;
-Providing Incorrect information nullifies admission;
-Failure to complete the registration process will lead to the cancellation of admission.
Bridging in Sciences in Midwifery
– Requires a high school scientific track or equivalent, along with a two-year diploma in the relevant field of midwifery or nursing.
Transferred students from Nursing Program into Nursing (Accelerated Track):
- They are subject to all initial admission requirements of the Nursing (Accelerated Track).
- To obtain a cumulative GPA of no less than 4 out of 5.
Newly enrolled students
- Copy of the High School Diploma
- Copy of the Qudurat test result
- Copy of the Tahsili test result
- Copy of the English language proficiency test result for applicants to the accelerated nursing program
Academic Advancement Program (Bridging) students
- Copy of the High School Diploma
- Copy of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties registration
- Copy of the TOEFL test result or equivalent
- Copy of the Diploma certificate.
Transferred students
- Copy of the High School Diploma
- Copy of the Qudurat test result
- Copy of the Tahsili test result
