Vision Medical College in Jeddah organizes a First Aid training course for its staff

The Nursing Department at Vision Medical College in Jeddah, under the supervision of the Continuous Education and Professional Development Committee, organized a First Aid course for the college’s staff. The course took place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

The course was presented by Dr. Khalda Hussein Sharaf, Ms. Salma Othman Al-Awadh, and Mr. Maleeh Al-Qahtani, who is a student in the Nursing program.

The course covered the basics of first aid, the contents of a first aid kit, and training on how to administer first aid to the injured in cases such as shock, wounds, bleeding, and various types of burns. It also included training on how to handle different injuries such as seizures, fractures, and others, as well as training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The activation of the First Aid course by Vision Colleges aims to raise awareness among its staff and increase knowledge of the correct response in emergency situations. We pray to God for everyone’s safety
