The College of Vision Medical in Jeddah, in collaboration with Andalusia Hospital in Jeddah, organized an awareness lecture on breast cancer as part of the global awareness month for the disease. The event took place at the college on Monday, October 7.
The lecture focused on several important topics, including the definition of breast cancer, its symptoms, and prevention methods, as well as the importance of early detection. It also explained how to perform self-examinations and provided information about mammograms and breast cancer treatments. Additionally, some myths and tips related to the disease were discussed.
