Riyadh Vision Medical College in Jeddah held a celebration on the occasion of the Saudi Foundation Day 2024 under the theme “Our Day,” supervised by the Corporate Communication and Media Department on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the college premises, aiming to commemorate this precious day among the staff and students of the college and to highlight its historical and cultural significance.

The celebration was attended by the Dean of the College, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and visitors from the college clinics. The building of Riyadh Vision Medical College in Jeddah was adorned with the theme of the foundation day “Our Day,” in addition to decorating the celebration venue and college corridors with popular motifs and flags.

Saudi coffee and traditional sweets were served as hospitality. This occasion provided an opportunity to enhance social interaction among the staff and students of the college.

The celebration was accompanied by a number of traditional handicraft stores featuring Saudi-made products, showcasing handicrafts such as pottery, weaving, handmade accessories, and more in an innovative manner.

This served as an opportunity to promote handicrafts among the students by familiarizing them with the process and steps of crafting these items.

Furthermore, female students participated in activating the heritage corner, which included showcasing traditional costumes, some heritage products, and distributing souvenirs bearing popular motifs.

In conclusion, this celebration is part of Riyadh Vision Colleges’ celebrations of the Foundation Day, which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia commemorates, praying to Allah -Exalted and Glorified be He- to perpetuate security, safety, prosperity, and development in this country.
