Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health Eng. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajil, the activities of the first annual International Conference on Nursing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were launched on Tuesday 24 Jumada Al-Ula 1443 AH – 28 Dec 2021 AD ,  under the title “A New Horizon for the Saudi Nursing Profession – A Journey Towards Vision 2030”, which is organized by the Saudi Nursing Society, and under the auspices of Vision Colleges as the main sponsor of this conference.

The conference includes four basic workshops, covering all aspects of advanced nursing practice, a journey to identify tools and strategies for improving quality in health care, in addition to health worker practices and patient safety, and another titled Nursing leaders during health care transformation.

The sponsorship of the vision colleges in Riyadh and Jeddah for this conference comes in their belief in the vital and important role of the nursing profession, and in support of the effective efforts made by all parties to localize this profession with qualified Saudi staff.

It is noteworthy that the vision colleges, through their clear vision and ambitious goals to achieve leadership and excellence in health education and training locally and regionally, offer a bachelor’s program in medicine and dental surgery, a human medicine program, in addition to a bachelor’s program in nursing and nursing bridging, through qualified faculty members, facilities and advanced laboratories, Supported by training agreements with more than (13) of the largest health institutions around the Kingdom.
