Since establishing the Medicine and Surgery program just two years ago, the college has worked diligently to develop the capabilities of its students and encourage them to excel in both education and scientific research. Moreover, an exceptional research project on “The Impact of Lifestyle on the Immune System and Disease Susceptibility” was selected to represent the college at the 11th International Family Medicine Conference held in Dubai from October 29 to 31, 2024. This project resulted from the dedicated work of students Mahmoud Qaddourah, Al-Jouri Bahatheq, and Rouin Al-Saban under the guidance of Dr. Nermin Al-Sahafi, a researcher specializing in immunology and molecular biology. Dr. Nermin played a significant role in guiding and mentoring the team, which contributed to the project’s success and distinction.
