Pursued his specialization, culminating in a Ph.D. from Al-Azhar University in Egypt in 2023, with a specialization in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Dr. Abusham has conducted significant research, including studies on the prevalence of parvovirus B19 among patients with sickle cell anemia in Sudan and the performance of medical students in microbiology subjects at the University of Khartoum.
