The Department of Restorative Dental Sciences is one of the departments supporting the Dentistry program and the largest in terms of the number of listed courses within each division that provides basic and advanced materials in the specialty of dentistry taught from the third to the twelfth level. 

Department Responsibilities & Duties: 

– Follow up with the teaching process of the courses that fall within his specialization. 

– Application of the content of the academic regulations, Exams, and executive rules. 

-Distributing lectures and academic loads to faculty members. 

-Deciding on student matters within the department authority based on rules and regulations. 

– Organizing and coordinating the department’s work. 

– Execute the tasks delegated by the College Council or the Dean in accordance with the rules and regulations. 

– Proposing amendments to the study plan, curricula, textbooks, and references. 

– Participation in the community service programs offered by the college in accordance with the rules and regulations. 

– Recommend the hiring of faculty members and those of similar status and promotions and submit them to the College Council. 

– Proposing the formation of permanent or temporary committees among its members in accordance with the rules and regulations.
