Academic Affairs Unit

The Academic Affairs Unit duties is that it supervise the student’s journey from applying for admission in one of the programs available in the Vision Medical College until his/her graduation, passing through the procedures related to admission, registration, deletion, and addition of courses; ensuring that the unit policies and procedures is in line with the Ministry of Education, in addition to coordination with the scientific departments and various departments to provide services related to the tasks of educational affairs as befits the Vision Medical College.

Committees of Academic affairs Unit

Admission and Registration Committee:

The Admissions and Registration Committee, in coordination with the Deanship of the College and the relevant departments, is concerned with facilitating the difficulties that may hinder the admission and registration process, settling study schedules in the system and reviewing all the details related to them, including the numbers of sessions, and introducing and assigning faculty members to them.  The committee also undertakes academic follow-ups, implements quarterly movements, and provides the necessary statistics to the relevant authorities.

Learning Resources Committee:

The Learning Resources Committee is responsible for supervising the library and laboratories in the college and ensuring their extent and suitability to achieve the objectives of the programs. The committee aims to verify the adequacy and efficiency of library references and laboratory equipment to enhance academic excellence and meet academic requirements. The committee is also keen to provide services that keep pace with development in multiple scientific fields by empowering students and faculty members benefit from the Saudi Digital Library and provide simulation laboratories to qualify the student before entering the practical field.

Equivalency Committee:

The Equivalency Committee conducts and studies transferred applicants’ equation and make sure it is in accordance with the bylaws and regulations.

Schedules Committee:

The committee is responsible for preparing study schedules according to faculty members’ workloads, classrooms, and appropriate times, while trying to reduce conflict in students’ schedules.
